Pet lovers turn out for ‘Brews for Rescues’ fundraiser

Today was the day for our co-sponsored “Brews for Rescues” fundraiser at Red Hare Brewing Company, and turnout was fantastic! Lots of folks — and their canine companions — joined us for an afternoon and evening of wagging tails and delicious craft brews.

The event featured food by Great and Plenty, Red Hare drink specials, and lots of pet lovers. HSCC staff and volunteers were on hand to talk with patrons and share information about what we do.

Proceeds from “Brews for Rescues” will help support our new building and campus improvement project and will aid our mission to provide improved health and welfare for all animals under our care. We were thrilled to team up with Red Hare Brewing Company for this event, and we look forward to more joint ventures in the future!
