HSCC kitties have arrived at Java Cats Café Marietta!

Today we took the first batch of kitties to Java Cats Café’s new location right off the Marietta Square, in preparation for the grand opening this weekend! The Humane Society of Cobb County and Java Cats Café Marietta have formed a partnership in which Java Cats will serve as a foster agent for us and their cat lounge will act as an extension of our facility. Adoptable HSCC cats will live in the cat lounge, where they will be available to interact with visitors and potential adopters!

Admission to the lounge costs $10 for one hour and includes a yummy beverage of your choice. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome at times when the lounge isn’t at capacity. All adoption applications will be processed solely by HSCC staff.

We are extremely excited for this opportunity! We have so many wonderful cats whom we anticipate being matched with loving homes thanks to this new exposure for them. Right now, the first batch of lucky kitties are exploring the lounge and getting acclimated (and a few are hiding under sofas…).
