My name is Tizzy, and when I first came to the HSCC, I was in rough shape! They pulled me from the county animal control facility, where I had arrived as a stray with two ruptured eyes. I was so scared, but the nice people at the HSCC took me to an animal eye specialist who was able to surgically repair both eyes. Now I’m happy and healthy, and my eyes are a beautiful golden color!

 

I am full of personality and charm. I LOVE people, and I know how to make them love me back! I have an entire repertoire of funny facial expressions, and I love to make people laugh with my comedic exploits. I will flop down into your path so you have no choice but to pay attention to me. And if you somehow manage to sidestep me, I’ll race after you and try again!

 

I’m a big fan of toys and love to play. I also get the zoomies on a regular basis. I enjoy the company of other friendly felines, but I WILL deal out justice when I see bad behaviors! For instance, if I see one cat picking on another, I will give the offender a light smack with the “paw of justice” to let them know the inappropriateness of it all. I’m firm but fair!

 

I adore humans and seek a home where I’ll receive the love and attention I deserve. I’ll do well with other cats if given adequate time to acclimate. I’m social and friendly, but I do like to enjoy some quiet private time on occasion!
