My name is Oliver, and I am in the process of learning how to cat! I came from a hoarding situation, so I’ve been experiencing a lot of “firsts” since I came under the care of the HSCC. Now that I’m in a safe, healthy environment, I’m able to explore and develop in ways I never could before. It turns out that I’m sweet and goofy!
I enjoy human companionship and will seek out affection from friendly people. When I’m happy, I like to roll around on my sides and back. Here at the Java Cats Meowietta cat lounge, I have access to lots of vertical space, and I love perching on the high shelves to soak up the scenery! I can be talkative, and in my playful moments I sometimes get the zoomies.
My adventurous and curious nature is working to my benefit as I come out of my shell and learn about the world. I’m still learning that sudden movements and noises can be okay, because in my previous life those things could mean danger. But I’m quickly adapting and am building up my social skills and confidence level every day.
I enjoy the companionship of other affable cats, and I take cues from the kitties around me. I prefer a home without children or dogs but would do great with another mellow, friendly feline. I seek a calm, caring household where I can continue to blossom with the support of humans who love and understand me.
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please make a reservation to come meet me at the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge! I have been neutered and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
