Breed/Appearance: Ginger/fawn/brown tabby
Hair Length: Short
My name is Zooey, and I’ve blossomed into a gorgeous, loving girl after a rough start! I was an owner surrender to Cobb County Animal Services along with my companion, Emily. At that time, I was emaciated and suffering from a severe flea allergy, but Emily was in much worse shape — you can read more about our rescue and Emily’s injuries on Emily’s bio page.
The short version is that the HSCC pulled us and brought us to their no-kill shelter, where we both received the care and love we needed. Emily’s road was a long one, but we are finally both happy, healthy, and ready for our forever home! Emily and I aren’t biological siblings, but we are soul sisters and must be adopted together.
Despite the neglect I suffered in the past, I’m an affectionate, gentle girl, and I genuinely love people. I will sit and gaze at human friends, just basking in their presence! When I want your attention, I’ll sidle up to you, stretch out on your leg, and slowly but surely maneuver my way into your lap. In addition to my sweet and charming ways, I’m also a real beauty with my ginger and fawn coloring and subtle markings.
Emily and I seek a household with a low to moderate activity level, where we’ll receive lots of love and attention. We should do well with gentle children and/or another mellow canine or feline. We’re both sweet, loving girls with so much to offer, and we’re so eager to find our forever home!
If you think Emily and I would be a good fit for your home, please make a reservation to come meet us at the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge! We have been spayed and microchipped and are up to date on all our vaccinations.
