My name is Whiskey, and I’m a gentle giant. I might look big and strong, but when I was abandoned by my owner and left to fend for myself, I admit I was scared! A Good Samaritan found me and got me to safety, then partnered with the HSCC to take me in. When I first arrived at their no-kill shelter, I was confused and frightened, but I quickly realized I was in good hands.
Despite my statuesque build, I can be surprisingly quiet and stealthy, moving like a ninja as I scope out my surroundings. I’m still a bit shy with new people and new places, but once I feel secure, I’ll make my presence known. I bask in friendly attention and enjoy being petted. You’ll know I’m firmly in my comfort zone when I plop down on my side, curl my paws, go belly up, and start rolling around!
I’m now at the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge, and I’ve made some feline friends here — most notably the dynamic duo of Blossom and Zinnia. These two kittens adore me, and we’re often found snuggling together. I’d certainly get along with other good-natured cats, and I’d do best in a household with a low to moderate activity level.
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please make a reservation to come meet me at the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge! I have been neutered and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
