My name is Schubert, and I’m the last holdout from the “composers” litter who hasn’t been adopted yet. My siblings Mozart and Hildegard von Bingen (aka Hilde) have found their forever homes, and now it’s my turn!
Composers are a creative bunch, and as the namesake of one, I follow in those footsteps by cheerfully marching to the beat of my own drum! My favorite expressive outlet is twisting myself into awkward poses and then lazily contemplating life, while the humans marvel at my flexibility and unorthodox lounging preferences. I’m a bit of an oddball, but my weirdness is to be celebrated!
I’m a cuddlebug, I love belly rubs, I purr A LOT, and I have a distinctive meow! I’m young and energetic, so my antics and escapades are an endless source of amusement and comic relief. I’m sweet, affectionate, and a lover of people, and I’m so eager to find my forever home.
I’m FIV+, so I’d be a great addition to a household with another FIV+ kitty. My suitemate and good buddy Rogan is also FIV+, and we would LOVE to be adopted together. I’d also excel as an only cat, or as a companion to a mellow dog. Other than the FIV, I’m a healthy and happy boy. To maintain my wellness, I require routine visits with my veterinarian approximately twice per year, and I benefit from nutritional food in tandem with supplements that boost the immune system. HSCC staff are readily available to discuss FIV with anyone interested in adopting an FIV+ kitty, so please feel free to reach out to them with questions.
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been neutered and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
