My name is Pebbles, and I am considered “special needs” but am well worth the effort! I receive a daily supplement to support a chronic torn ACL, as well as medication for anxiety. I am also an older girl, at 9 years old. I am wary of new people and new situations, but once you earn my trust, I’m very sweet and affectionate. I can be almost cat-like in the way I express my love for trusted humans, rubbing my head on them and leaning against their legs. I would do best with a family or individual who is willing to spend time getting to know and understand me prior to adoption; the nice people at the HSCC will be happy to arrange for pre-adoption visits with me. My ideal home environment would be calm and quiet, preferably as an only dog with someone who works from home or is otherwise able to spend a lot of quality time with me. I would be so grateful for a loving family to call my own, and I promise I am worth it!

If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been spayed and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
