My name is Miss Priss, and I have a dainty meow that truly suits my name. When I first came to the HSCC, I’d been separated from my babies for a short period of time, so I was wary and confused; my litter had arrived at the HSCC first and it was a couple of weeks before I was humanely trapped by a good Samaritan and brought in. All my kittens have since been adopted into loving homes, and now it’s my turn!
At first I didn’t really want to be handled, but I responded well to toys — specifically, wand toys. So that’s how the people here socialized me. After a while, I decided that humans were okay after all. I’m not really a lap cat, but I do like people now, and I really like to play! I also enjoy the companionship of other gentle cats and will happily spend all day cuddling with a fellow feline. I’m mellow and calm, and I would do best in a quiet, loving household that shares those same qualities. Plus I LOVE to get head rubs, so that’s one of my requirements.
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been spayed and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
