My name is Maggie, and I’m a beautiful tabby girl with pretty markings and striking green eyes! I’m half of a bonded pair that must be adopted together, the other half being my brother Jake. We have a typical brother/sister relationship — we snuggle together, watch over each other, are never far apart, alert everyone around us when we’re not happy with each other, and tussle on occasion. But at the end of the day you’ll find us snuggling again. We’ve adopted big boy Randall into our little family as well; we three amigos share a community cat room at the HSCC’s no-kill shelter and can usually be found together. It would be a true gift if we could all be adopted as a trio!

Other cats seem to gravitate toward me, and my response is typically neutral. I might be receptive, but if I’m not interested, I’ll just politely move along! I really enjoy cat tunnels and cubby holes, and I often amuse myself by zooming around and running through tunnels when the other kitties are napping. I’m not a lap cat, but I am affectionate and genuinely enjoy interacting with people. I love to be petted, and I’ll follow my favorite humans around to get attention, sometimes by sharing my dainty squeak of a meow! You might notice that I’m a wee bit “fluffy,” but I’m in the process of slimming down.

Jake and I would do best in a household with a moderate level of activity. We’d do well with children teenage or older, and we’d likely be okay with a low-key dog. I’ll probably be shy at first in a new home environment, but given some TLC I’ll settle right in.

If you think Jake and I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet us! We have been spayed/neutered and microchipped and are up to date on all our vaccinations.
