My name is Goodwill, and my life has truly been a journey thus far. When I first came to the HSCC with my siblings, I was almost feral and was extremely wary of humans; I would not tolerate being handled, and just wanted to hide. Some kind people devoted special time to working with me, and I gradually came out of my shell. I went from hiding and hissing to cuddling and “making biscuits” with my trusted friends.

Trust is very important to me. If you take the time to earn my trust, you will have a friend for life, and a genuinely special bond. I like to stretch across the laps of people I know and roll back and forth so that they can pet all the best spots. I also drool when I’m happy and purr like a motor. If you take the time to get to know me, you will discover that I am charismatic, devoted, and a joy to be around.

I live in a free-roam cat room here at the HSCC, and I get along well with my feline housemates. I might be shy with humans I don’t know, but I have a calming influence on other cats, and I have a diverse array of feline friends because of my gentle nature. In this respect, my name suits me well, as I am a bit of a Goodwill Ambassador amongst fellow felines. I would do well in a quiet home with other calm, gentle cats, but please, no dogs or small children.

If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been neutered and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
