My name is Ava, and I am a loveable character! I first came to the HSCC’s no-kill shelter after being pulled from Cobb County Animal Services. I was a pitiful picture at that time, thin and almost bald due to flea allergies. But as you can see in my photos, I have made a full recovery and am now a striking beauty in good health! I am a dilute tortie, with muted colors and eye-catching facial markings.

I am still learning about being around other cats, but I am coexisting just fine in the cat lounge at Java Cats Café Meowietta. I might give a short growl now and then, but nothing more. I’m a little shy when I first meet new people, but it doesn’t take long before I come running for pets and love. I’m inquisitive and talkative, and my favorite pastimes include eating, head-butting, and being petted. I’m a petite girl, but I do LOVE food, so my weight will need to be monitored to keep me in good health. I would probably be fine in a household with a low-activity, small to medium-size dog.

If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please make a reservation to come meet me at the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge! I have been spayed and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
