We originally pulled Stella from Cobb County Animal Services, where she had been picked up as an injured stray. Once her wounds healed and she knew she was safe, this sweet girl’s personality emerged, and it turned out she was a lover! She adored people and was so eager for affection, but she kept getting passed over for adoption. We couldn’t figure it out, but now we know — she was just waiting for her special person to find her, and he did!
Stella’s new dad saw her bio on our website and was smitten, so he arranged to come meet her. His kitty had passed away five months prior, and he was missing feline companionship. He came to our no-kill shelter to meet Stella, then came back to visit with her more over the next couple of days. He felt that she was the one for him, and the feeling was mutual — Stella eagerly awaited his visits, and on Adoption Day, she chirped at the sight of him!
Stella was too overwhelmed to pose for an adoption photo, but we look forward to receiving pics once she’s settled into her new home. Happy tails, sweet girl!
