Bonded siblings Halle and Orion are HSCC long-timers and staff and volunteer favorites. It took some time for them to find their forever home, but that’s because they were waiting for the perfect match — and it’s finally happened!
Their new parents had been thinking about adopting for a couple of years, and their mom had cats growing up and missed having them in the house. Originally, they had planned to adopt kittens, but after a second visit to the Java Cats Meowietta cat lounge, Dad sat down next to Orion and Orion worked his magic. Soon Halle joined in and held Dad captive by sitting in his lap for the entire visit. This dynamic duo had proven irresistible to their new parents, and the feeling was mutual.
We’ve already received an adorable photo of Halle and Orion in their new digs, along with the news that they’re staying comfortable in a small space for now and will venture out to fully explore their new home when they’re ready.
We’re thrilled for these two sweeties and their new family!
