The crew has been painting, both inside and out! On the interior of Building 200 (the new shelter building), the epoxy paint is on the walls in the cat rooms, and the palette is so pretty — greens, blues, and violets, which are the colors cats can see best. The lobby and utility areas are soothing neutrals, and the break room and grooming/laundry room are a cheery yellow. It all looks fantastic!
The exterior of Building 100 (our new Welcome Center) has also received a facelift. The previously orange brick façade has been painted a cool grey that coordinates with Building 200, and the front door is a complementary charcoal. The white trim really pops. We’re so pleased with the result!
Finishing work continues with the installation of cabinetry and countertops, and the flooring will be installed soon!
