Waterproofing and interior framing

Work has now moved on to waterproofing, and the crew has installed most of the sheathing panels for the exterior walls. This fiberglass mat gypsum sheathing provides protection from moisture and mold and will serve as a solid substrate for the siding. Building wrap is installed over the sheathing and behind the siding as a final barrier against moisture.

The crew has also made good progress with the interior framing. The interior steel studs are up, and drywall will happen soon. It’s so exciting to walk around inside and be able to step “into” the cat and kitten rooms!

Coming up in the pipeline: installation of the steel siding and brick façade, insulation, electric and HVAC work, window and storefront glass installation, and drywall.
