Four walls and a roof

The steel frame is up, and things are moving quickly now! This week the crew has been working on the roof and exterior walls. We’re now able to walk around “inside” the space and visualize what it’s going to be like for our feline friends come spring.

We’ve also finalized our exterior color choices. The siding color was determined some time ago, and now we’ve made our choices for the brick façade and the canopies. The selected palette is a spectrum of grays, and it will coordinate well with the final color scheme for the new Welcome Center. In the weeks to come, we’ll also be making finishing selections for the interior (paint colors, cabinetry, and the like). Signage is another item on the near-future agenda.
