Adopted: Leia

Leia came to the HSCC as a kitten in 2013, along with two littermates who have since been adopted. She lived in one of the free-roam cat rooms at our no-kill shelter until her recent transition to the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge.

Leia’s new mom is “grandma” to another HSCC/Java Cats kitty, Zeus. Her 21-year-old cat passed away recently, and she wasn’t planning to get another cat until she encountered the lovely Leia. Leia’s mom felt an immediate attraction to her — so much so, that she submitted the only application she’s ever made for a cat. Her husband knew she was serious at that point and that she was totally smitten. Leia has two new canine siblings and has become a very important member of her new family.

This calm, gentle girl has always been a favorite among HSCC staff and volunteers, and we’re delighted that she’s finally found her forever home. Happy tails, sweet girl!
