Wyatt came to the HSCC at 6 weeks old, along with two of his siblings who have since been adopted. This sweet boy is talkative and almost dog-like in his attachment to humans, but he is also shy and nervous in new situations and requires adequate time to adjust. Wyatt was adopted once before, but he was returned to us because he did not adapt as quickly as the family had hoped.
His new family has vowed to give him the time he needs, and they will certainly be amply rewarded for their patience. Allowing animals to acclimate to a new home at their own pace lays the foundation for a rich and rewarding relationship that will last a lifetime; patience pays off, and we are thrilled that Wyatt has found a family who will allow him to blossom in their home.
Happy tails, Wyatt!
